Then there’s the obscenity of the Democrats and their supporters in the US with their slanderous, self-interested and vile promotion of Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations about Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. It’s yet another classic example of identity politics. Ford is a woman, so can do no wrong and must be believed. She’s a registered Democrat and as any intelligent person knows; anything related to Donald Trump is fair game for that mob, whether real or imaginary.
On that basis alone her claims and their timing must be held under suspicion. After all they relate to something that allegedly happened in the early or mid-1980’s, depending on which account Ford has proffered on different occasions. She doesn’t seem sure about when or where, exactly.
Kavanaugh has been in the public eye for many years and Ford could have chosen to take him down and to ruin his life, long before now. Surely, an intelligent woman who claims her life was destroyed on that distant day would have done something about it either at the time, by reporting the alleged ‘assault’ to the police or in the decades since. Certainly, you would expect an educated, American professor of psychology, who more than likely provides life-improving advice to her clients would seek help to improve her own life if her allegations were true. Bear in mind; by her own wavering testimony it’s difficult to determine whether her allegation is true or not.
As for Brett Kavanaugh? Even if he was partial to the drink in his teenage days and behaved badly at the time, does he really deserve to be tarred with that brush for the rest of his life?
Teenagers make mistakes but we usually grow up. I’m quite sure many of us clumsily groped our way through puberty on our voyage of female and male discovery. Girls and boys and nights at the Drive-in movie were a heady mix even without alcohol. Do we now face being ruined all these years later by some bitter, vindictive person whose life didn’t turn out the way they wanted? Or indeed, hauled before the global court of public opinion for a moment of indiscretion when we were too young to know any better. Is that really fair?
Who would remember with any certainty what actually happened thirty to forty years ago? Mind you, I understood the word ‘no’ from a very early age and no one complained anyway.
But! They could still suggest otherwise and an allegation in the media from a woman would be aired without question. That’s how it is now in this insane world we live in, where it’s sufficient for a female to make an allegation and the media will print it without question or evidence. In the case of Professor Ford that is exactly what has happened and regardless of guilt or innocence therein lies the problem. What is extraordinary is that Ford didn’t ever report it to the police, yet Kavanaugh has been castigated and found guilty by the left merely on her unsupported words.
It’s open season on Brett Kavanaugh as well as his wife and children. Why? He’s a conservative and a Trump nominee so lives and reputations can be ruined on an unproven premise. Ford is a woman after all and therefore beyond reproach. These days women it seems never lie, never manipulate, are never violent and can do no wrong unless; they are conservative women then it’s open season on them as it is with white, conservative males.
If you were to believe the daily bitter dose from left wing media sources including those in Australia, then US President Donald Trump has never done a single thing worthy of merit. This is despite the buoyant state of the American economy and the huge reduction in unemployment amongst black and Hispanic Americans and in particular – women, who are enjoying far more opportunities and advantages under Trump’s leadership than they did during the eight Obama ‘yes we can but no, we didn’t’ left leaning years.
As for the Democrats and their showbiz supporters? Here is a political party who still refuse to respect the simple fact that their Hilary lost the election. Can you imagine the uproar if the Republicans were acting in the same bitter and spiteful way had Hilary won. The media would have pilloried them but as acclaimed Australian media commentator, Andrew Bolt has often said in relation to the dominant left wing media; ‘Never the principle always the side.’
As for any substance to Ford’s allegations? Experienced Prosecutor, Rachel Mitchell is not convinced. Mitchell is well acquainted with the world of rape, sexual assault and family violence. She is head of an Arizona Special Victims Division and has been prosecuting sexual predators for around 25 years. As someone who has been in the front line dealing with the welfare of rape victims and the pursuit of the perpetrators, Mitchell surely knows her stuff. She questioned Ford at the hearing and highlighted nine chief concerns she had about Ford’s testimony.
- Ford did not offer a consistent account of when the alleged assault happened.
- Struggled to identify Judge Kavanaugh as the assailant by name.
- When speaking with her husband, Dr. Ford changed her description of the incident to become less specific.
- Has no memory of key details of the night in question to corroborate her account and does not remember how she got from the party back to her house.
- Dr. Ford’s account of the alleged assault has not been corroborated by anyone she identified as having attended – including her lifelong friend.
- Has not offered a consistent account of the alleged assault.
- Has struggled to recall important recent events relating to her allegations and her testimony regarding recent events raises further questions about her memory.
- Dr. Ford’s description of the psychological impact of the event raises questions. She maintains that she suffers from anxiety, claustrophobia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The date of the hearing was delayed because the Committee was informed that her symptoms prevent her from flying. But Ford (testified) that she flies ‘fairly frequently for hobbies and work.’
- The activities of congressional Democrats and her attorneys likely affected Dr. Ford’s account.
Rachel Mitchell concludes:
Dr. Ford identified other witnesses to the event, and those witnesses either refuted her allegations or failed to corroborate them.
Mitchell states; That a ‘he said, she said’ case is incredibly difficult to prove. I do not think that a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence before the Committee.
How does any member of the Democrat party or their sycophantic supporters lie straight in bed at night? If you want to know where the bad people are; those who lie and deceive, then look no further. You’ll see them on the left.
